What is not included in your shooting day?

Every production is a prototype, so your needs and requirements depend on several factors. Generally speaking, we acknowledge two main ‘routes’:

      2D content playback

For most productions, for instance, car setups, the playback of moving footage on the screen (‘plates’) suffices. The same applies to a photo or other image that can be displayed ‘as is’, or color graded to meet the proper level of realism.

For this route, less hardware is needed and also less ‘VP-crew’ to assist in securing a smooth workflow.

      3D (tracked) set extensions

The more complex route involves the display of 3D (or semi 3D) environments, set extensions or scenes rendered in real-time.

For this route, more hardware might be needed, for instance, camera- and lens tracking, which requires additional ‘VP-crew’ to assist in securing a smooth workflow.
