The Virtual Production Collective
Built on a three-pillar approach, The Virtual Production Collective (VPC) unites filmmakers, real-time specialists, camera & lighting professionals and creative department heads, assembling custom teams for each project.
This dynamic collaboration is tailored to the specific demands of each, unique production.
Whether you’re an agency, production company, or brand, VPC is your gateway to unlocking the full potential of virtual production—pushing boundaries and delivering unmatched quality.
Pillar 1: The Virtual Production Pros
The first essential pillar in our process: our Virtual Production Professionals. From the very first conversation, they collaborate with you to find the best approach and assemble the ideal team.
From this moment on, they are with you every step of the way, overseeing the entire VP- production from start to finish. We affectionately call them our VP-fixers, because they make sure everything runs smoothly, no matter the challenge.
It starts with a simple question: What are you creating? And what is the story you want to tell…
Pillar 2: The Storytellers
At the core of every production is the creative vision of filmmakers: the screenwriters, the creatives, the directors. These storytellers are responsible for the project’s narrative. Our approach to VP fits into that delicate and often complex journey.
As virtual production pros, we understand where these makers come from, what it takes to realize a vision.
We believe that VP is not just a technical evolution; it is a new way of storytelling, where imagination and technology literally blend.
Storytellers no longer need to be constrained by physical locations, as they can now shape entire worlds on a soundstage, finding harmony between the virtual and the real, between innovation and tradition, bringing their stories to life.
Pillar 3: The World Builders
Virtual Production is not a matter of LED technology, it is all about how you use it.
The collaboration between the physical art department and the virtual art department is key in getting the most out of your scene. Both departments need to align to blur the lines between the foreground and the background, supported by the gaffer, who does the magical trick of forging it all together. Prelighting prior to your shoot is essential to ensure a smooth experience.
As on any location shoot, communication between all crew members is important. Shooting in front of an LED-wall is no exception. Our virtual art department is geared towards the First AD, who manages all crew members. They finally ensure that the actors’ perform at their best.
The Virtual Production Pros will guide the worldbuilders through from the first steps on.
